Wind Turbines Undergo Testing

The standard power plant in the near future will be a 360kW rated unit having 1,200 blades and 48 generators. The MAT system is wind energy conversion device that is anticipated to be capable of generating electricity at less than 2.5 cents per kW hour at an average annual wind speed of 16 miles per hour. This projected cost is 40 percent below traditional wind turbine technologies, said the company.
