Wind Project to Taiwan

May 7, 2002 [] The Taiwan Power Company plans to build a wind power plant along the Hsinchu coast in west Taiwan, according to a government official. Taipower will invest 1.2 billion Taiwan dollars (US$35 million) to build the plant with 13 wind turbines, slated to start operating in 2004.
