Wind Power to Ireland

June 12, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Energia, the Viridian subsidiary, has entered the wind power business by buying into the extension of a Tyrone wind farm in Ireland. The independent electricity supplier, has signed a £15 million contract with B9 Energy Services and St Albans-based Renewable Energy Systems. Energia will purchase the output from a 7.26 MW extension to an existing wind farm at Lendrum’s Bridge in Fivemiletown.
