Wind Power Credit Adjusted for Inflation

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Beginning retroactively from January 1, 2005, the Federal wind energy production tax credit, or PTC was adjusted upward for inflation to 1.9 cents/kWh, according to the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). The credit — previously at 1.8 cents/kWh — is the federal government’s main form of support for wind power and has been crucial financial element to spurring development of wind power projects.
