Wind Power Association Cautious

Arthouros Zervos, President of the European Wind Energy Association Is “cautiously disappointed” after returning from the Johannesburg Summit. The failure to agree on binding targets and deadlines for increasing the use of Renewable Energy sources and the final text on Renewable Energy has the group concerned. The EWEA was encouraged that wind turbines received high profile attention in the international media during the summit and feels clean power has moved to the top of the world agenda with wind power becoming the symbol for Renewable Energy.
