Wind May Power Chinese Island

May 14, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] The Chinese environmental group Friends of the Earth has proposed turning a remote island off the southern tip of Hong Kong into an eco-tourist spot, to be powered by wind turbines. It also found sea water could be desalinated and used as drinking water during power-generation.
