Wind Energy Park in Brazil Starts Operating

Porto Alegre, Brazil [Agencia Brasil] The first phase of the wind energy park (which produces energy with the force of the wind) of the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul will be inaugurated today (28) in Osorio, coastal city in the state. During the ceremony 25 wind generators will be activated, which will produce 50 megawatts, sufficient energy to supply a city of 200,000 people. … The first 25 wind energy generator towers — of a total of 75 to form the three plants of the Wind Energy Park in Rio Grande do Sul.
