Wind Energy Collaborative Forum Approaches

December 9, 2003 [] The California Wind Energy Collaborative will hold a forum on the status and future of wind energy in the state December 16-17 on the University of California-Davis campus. The workshop will be held at the Buehler Alumni & Visitors’ Center. The forum will focus on the status, issues, and future of wind energy in California with participation from the wind industry, government agencies, academia, and other interested parties. This year’s event will examine the challenges of increasing wind penetration into the electrical infrastructure and land use issues. Registration for the forum is limited due to space considerations. The US$50 registration fee includes beverages and light refreshments at the opening of the forum, a reception on Tuesday evening, a continental breakfast on Wednesday morning, and an electronic copy of the forum proceedings.
