Vestas Wins Spanish Order for 22 Wind Turbines

Copenhagen, Denmark [AFX News Limited] Vestas Wind Systems AS said Vestas Eolica has received an order for 22 units of the group’s V90-2.0 MW wind turbines from a Dong Energy joint venture for a wind park project in Spain. No financial details were released. The order was placed by the developer Northeolic Sierra de Tineo SL, which is jointly owned by the largest Danish energy company, Dong Energy (75 pct), and the Spanish renewable energy development group, Northeolic SA (25 pct).
