Vestas Receives Spanish Order for 21 1.8-MW Wind Turbines

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems AS said its Spanish unit Vestas Eolica S.A.U. has received an order for 21 units of its V90-1.8 MW turbine for the wind power project Caldereros in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, from Enel Union Fenosa Renovables. Delivery is scheduled to begin in January 2008, said Vestas, adding that the order includes supply, commissioning and a five-year service agreement.
