Hungary hydro operator Tiszaviz Vizeromu KFT seeks bids to perform work on hydropower turbine parts at the 28-MW Kiskore hydroelectric project in Hungary. Bids are due January 16, 2011.
Tiszaviz Vizeromu contracted Voith Siemens’ Austria unit and Siemens RT of Hungary in 2002 to refurbish Kiskore, which originally was commissioned in 1974 on the Tisza River. The plant’s four 7-MW bulb turbines were upgraded from 2003-2006.
The hydro operator now seeks firms to perform turbine impeller ring manufacturing with welding. Work is to be completed by August 2012.
Tender documents may be obtained from the address below for 50,000 forints (US$213). Bids are due by 2 p.m. January 16.
