The reservoir and hydropower operator of Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt State seeks bids to supply two turbine-generators for the proposed 2.7-MW Muldestausee hydropower project on the Mulde River in Germany. Bids are due January 29, 2015.
Talsperren-Wasserkraft Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH commissioned RMD-Consult to plan and supervise construction of the hydro project on the Muldestausee reservoir, which occupies a former open pit mine in Saxony-Anhalt. Among other hydropower projects in Saxony-Anhalt is Vattenfall Europe Generation AG’s 80-MW Wendefurth pumped-storage project on the Bode River.
Talsperren-Wasserkraft seeks bids to manufacture, install and commission two Kaplan turbines designed for a flow of 34.5 cms and a head of 4.7 meters, plus generators, all auxiliary equipment and control systems. Valued at 3.6 million euros (US$4.37 million), the work is to be performed between March 2015 and December 2017.
Tender documents may be obtained from the address below until 2 p.m. January 19 for 110 euros (US$134). Bids are due by 11 a.m. January 29.
