GE to service about 820 wind turbines in four U.S. states

General Electric (NYSE: GE) will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) on 819 wind turbines at eight wind farms in four states owned by E.On Climate and Renewables North America.

The deal includes turbines at the Settler’s Trail and Pioneer’s Trail wind farms in Illinois; Wildcat Wind Farm in Indiana; Stony Creek Wind Farm in Pennsylvania; and the Pyron Wind Farm and Panther Creek phases 1, 2 and 3 in Texas.

GE will provide remote monitoring and resets, PulsePOINT performance analysis, on-site troubleshooting, parts and technical advisory support for the 1.5-77, 1.6-100 and 1.6-82.5 turbines at the sites.
