Berlin, New Hampshire [AP] A small wind farm is taking shape on Mount Jericho in Berlin (New Hampshire). Developer Christian Loranger has raised the first two of four wind turbines on the mountain. The wind farm is expected to generate enough energy to power 400 to 700 households, depending on the season. Loranger hopes to expand his project, perhaps to as many as 30 turbines. He says his four wind turbines are a small step toward becoming less dependent on foreign oil.
