Canadian utility BC Hydro seeks bids to supply replacement turbine inlet valves for the 158-MW Cheakamus hydroelectric project in British Columbia. A site visit is scheduled Sept. 16 with bids due Oct. 15.

BC Hydro now seeks bids for design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of turbine inlet valves and related equipment for Cheakamus Units 1 and 2. Installation is to begin in November 2017.
