Ann Cohn named vice president and associate general counsel at Edison Mission Energy


IRVINE, Calif., March 8, 2002 — Edison Mission Energy (EME), a subsidiary of Edison International, has named Ann Cohn as Vice President, Legal, for its Americas Region, and Associate General Counsel of EME, effective April 1, 2002.

Cohn is currently an Associate General Counsel at Southern California Edison (SCE) and Assistant General Counsel at Edison International. Her office will be located in Chicago.

“Cohn’s experience and proven abilities will be an important resource for EME with the many regulatory issues facing us, and with the wider range of legal issues affecting our Americas group,” said Willie Heller, EME President and CEO.

Cohn’s recent responsibilities include state and federal regulatory issues facing EIX companies. In that capacity, she played a key role in SCE’s response to the California energy crisis.

Prior to joining SCE in 1980, Cohn received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University and her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. She also completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
