Taiwan Power to build 60 wind power generation turbines

September 19, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Taiwan Power Company plans to build 60 wind power generation turbines along the western coast of Taiwan in the next three years. The state-run company will invest NT$4.5 billion (US$129.5 million) in the project. The turbines will have a combined capacity of 100,800 kWh.
