Spanish Companies to Bring Wind Power to Australia

2002-03-08 [SolarAccess.com] Union Electrica Fenosa SA and Grupo Auxiliar Metalurgico SA said their Union Fenosa Energias Especiales and Gamesa Energia units have signed a collaboration accord with TME Australia Pty Ltd to develop 14 wind energy projects in Australia. The companies said the initial phase of the collaboration will be to analyze the market and if the projects are viable to then begin to construct and operate wind farms with a total installed capacity of 450 MW.
