Solar PV Manufacturing Line Headed to China

[] Spire Corporation secured a contract this week with Unison of Chonan-City, Korea for Spire to provide a photovoltaic (PV) module production line. Spire has begun work on the equipment for the line, capable of producing over 15 MW of solar per year, Delivery is scheduled for early 2006. Unison is one of Korea’s largest suppliers of wind energy systems and Spire’s photovoltaic production line will give them the capability to participate in the growing Korean solar energy market.
