Siemens to Supply Turbines for Projects in Spain

Siemens Power Generation has received four orders, totaling EUR 170 million [US $252 million], from Spain to supply wind turbines to as well as steam turbines for solar-thermal power plants.

ACS, has ordered 50 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.3 megawatts (MW) and has also ordered an industrial steam turbine for the solar-thermal power plant Extresol I. Additionally, Siemens will supply steam turbines to Iberdrola and Solel Solar for two further solar-thermal power plants in Spain.
