Siemens to Build 300 megawatt Wind Power Station in South Korea

2002-02-15 [SolarAccess.com] German technology giant Siemens will build a $400 million, 300 MW wind power station on the South Korean island of Imja. The company signed a ‘memorandum of understanding’ on January 31 to construct the wind power station on the island by December 2006. State-run power monopoly Korea Electric Power Corp., will buy electricity produced at the station.
