“With enXco’s parent company EDF Energies Nouvelles, we have been cooperating successfully at large projects throughout Europe,” said REpower’s CEO Prof. Fritz Vahrenholt. “It is pleasant to establish a relationship as long-term and trustful with the U.S. subsidiary now.”
In terms of the current backlog, the U.S. constitutes the largest market of REpower Systems AG. REpower is currently establishing a U.S.-branch office for sales, service and project management issues in Portland, Oregon.
REpower Systems AG, which manufactures onshore and offshore wind turbines ranging from 1.5 to 5 megawatts and rotor diameters of 70 to 126 meters, provides service and maintenance.
