NRG Systems Introduces New Wind Measurement Tower

NRG Systems, Inc. has announced its XHD NOW System for wind measurement. The instrument is the next generation tower since the release of the popular HD TallTower design in 2006. The towers are ice-rated under structural engineering standard TIA/EIA 222-F. Both 50- and 60-meter towers use 10-inch and 8-inch diameter steel tubes. A smaller footprint can be used for installations along ridgelines or in places where it is important to minimize environmental harm. Increased durability also allows for easier permitting, erection, and improved survival in extreme weather conditions.
