Norwegian Wind Farm Proposal Rejected

April 10, 2002 [] A proposal for a 35 turbine wind farm in Stadlandet in western Norway has been rejected my the country’s government because of environmental concerns. The planned wind farm was part of an initiative by Statkraft to build three wind farms along the coast with a total annual production of 800 MW.
