North Dakota Approves Wind Power Line Proposal

Bismarck, North Dakota [Business Week Online] The Public Service Commission has approved a transmission line for a new wind farm in North Dakota and South Dakota. Tatanka Wind Power LLC is planning the project across the North Dakota-South Dakota border. State regulators say the company wants to build the $7 million, 10-mile power line to connect the wind turbines to North Dakota’s electrical grid. … Tatanka is a subsidiary of Acciona Wind Energy USA LLC.
