Nordex Signs Contract With Eolia

Nordex has announced that it has signed a new contract with Eolia. The contract calls for up to 86 large scale turbines to be delivered for a wind farm under development in Spain.

Under the terms of the framework agreement, Nordex Iberica has entered into with Spanish investor and developer Eolia Renovables for the delivery of up to 86 N90 and N100 2.5 megawatt (MW) machines. The project will have a 215 MW capacity.

The turbines are to be used in projects which Eolia is developing in the provinces of Castilla y León and Catalonia. Deliveries are to be completed by 2010 as part of a program to develop 1000 megawatts (MW) of wind by 2010.
