New York Seeks Wind Turbine Installers

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has announced at least $2.5 million in incentives to encourage the development of a network of on-site wind energy systems installers. NYSERDA can award up to $100,000 per installation. The incentives will be paid to eligible installers who install approved new grid-connected wind systems using qualified equipment, but must be passed directly to the end-use customers. Installers are encouraged to apply for eligibility through NYSERDA at any time during the program, expected to continue through December 2005.
