New Resource for ‘do-it-yourself’ Consumers

This week, launched “GoGreenSolar 2.0,” a new product catalog for small-scale solar and wind systems. was previously a “meeting point” for consumers and installers to facilitate sales. Now the website is selling products to individual consumers in addition to providing information on qualified installers and distributors.

The goal of the new, says Founder and CEO Deep Patel, is to make it easier for consumers to buy and install renewable energy by offering starter kits, do-it-yourself systems, and information on other products and services in the consumer’s area. The idea, he says, is to start consumers down the renewable energy path “one kilowatt at a time.”
