More Wind Test Towers Approved in Cape Cod

Wind Power The sky to the east of Oak Street could be pierced by a slender structure or two reaching 165 feet into the air, if approvals for two wind test towers come to fruition. Selectmen approved sites at Harwich High School and on Cranberry Valley Golf Course for the test towers on Monday night. The first priority is to locate a tower to the rear of the school, south of the track.
