New York, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) has closed on financing for the Lost Creek Wind Farm project located in DeKalb County, Missouri. The project is being developed by Wind Capital Group.
Construction on the 150-megawatt (MW) wind farm, which includes 100 GE 1.5xle turbines, began in June. Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. will purchase the power generated by the wind farm under 20-year power purchase agreement.
The Lost Creek Project will be operated and maintained by GE and Wind Capital Group, a Missouri based wind energy developer that is the largest driving force behind that state’s wind industry.
Other lenders included Bayern LB, Rabobank, Santander, and Union Bank. NORD/LB said that financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
