Juhl Wind Goes Public

Juhl Wind Inc, a community-based wind power developer has announced that it is now a publicly traded company. Its shares will be quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol JUHL.OB.

Juhl Wind has developed 11 wind farms throughout the upper Midwest that have the capacity to produce approximately 117 megawatts (MW) of wind power. It has another 16 new wind farms in development.

In a related story, Juhl Wind Inc. and MH&SC announced that they have closed a US $5,160,000 private placement concurrent with a business combination with Juhl Energy Development Inc. and DanMar & Associates Inc., two wind power development companies under common control that specialize in community wind farms.

The combined company will operate under the name Juhl Wind Inc. and will assume and execute the Juhl Wind business plan as its sole business.
