Juhl Wind Announces US $3.6 Million Wind Project

Juhl Wind Inc. announced that it recently entered into a development agreement with Winona County, Minnesota to design and build a 2-megawatt (MW) wind system planned to be cited near Altura. The project will cost approximately US $3.6 million and is planned to be completed by the end of the second quarter, 2009.

“We are very excited about entering this full development agreement with Winona County,” said Dan Juhl, CEO of Juhl Wind. “We believe customers with projects in the range of 3 to 50 MW know that no other entity has the experience we have actually getting smaller wind farms developed, financed and built.”

According topPresident of Juhl Wind John Mitola, Juhl’s project count now totals 21, all under various phases of development. The projects total approximately 432 MW of wind power capacity and more than US $950 million in project development.
