Irish Green Energy Provider Steps Up Campaign

May 7, 2003 [] Irish Green energy group Airtricity starts its first integrated marketing campaign with a budget of €500,000 (US$800,200). Aimed at the small to medium business sector, the campaign will focus on radio and trade magazines in the first phase, moving on to out- door and the national press in a second phase to begin in September in an effort to bring further attention to the benefits of Renewable Energy. Airtricity is already operating wind farms in Donegal, Cavan and Sligo, but its greatest publicity has been over the plans to construct the world’s largest off-shore wind farm off the coast of Wicklow.
