[The Peterborough Examiner] Anne Murray is a rich woman who says wind power is a good thing, but not if it means she must see towering, white, wind turbines while playing golf at Northumberland Links on Nova Scotia’s Gulf Shore. “I have played two golf courses that had turbines nearby and I would never play them again,” she explained in a letter to the Halifax Chronicle-Herald. “They are imposing structures and definitely not the kind of thing one wants to see from a golf course.”
