In Alabama, a Push for Wind

[Rochester City Newspaper] Organized citizens groups have become a hallmark of sorts for wind tower proposals. Take the Genesee County town of Alabama as an example. Horizon Wind Energy wants to build approximately 50 turbines on 5,000 acres east of Route 77. Residents formed Wind Information and Responsible Energy (WI+RE) in response.
