Iberdrola Commissions First Polish Wind Farm

Bilbao, Spain [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Iberdrola Renewables has commissioned its first wind farm in Poland, a 40.5-megawatt (MW) facility in the northern province of Warminsko-Mazurskie, with 27 1.5-MW wind turbines manufactured by General Electric. Iberdrola is now completing its second wind farm in Poland, an 18 MW facility in Malbork using 12 1.5-MW General Electric turbines, and has begun construction of a 69 MW wind farm in Karscino, using 1.5 MW Fuhrlander FL 1500-77 turbines. The firm has wind power projects totaling 800 MW.
