Hearing Draws Opposing Views on Wind Power Project

Londonderry, VT [The Boston Globe] The debate over wind energy in Vermont was up-close and personal for many of those gathered for a public hearing on a proposed wind power project. The Windham Regional Commission, which hosted Thursday night’s session at the Flood Brook Elementary School, announced it had concluded that a proposal for 19, 420-foot wind turbines on Glebe Mountain did not comport with the town plan.
