Guascor do Brasil to Install 350MW of Wind Capacity in Brazil

2002-02-26 [] Brazilian energy firm Guascor do Brasil is planning to invest up to US$400 million over the next five years to install 350MW of wind capacity across Brazil. The company has signed initial supply contracts with Brazil’s Wobben, a subsidiary of Germany’s Enercon, to supply turbines. The plans will require some 500 turbines to reach full capacity.
