Ground Broken for Nine Canyons Wind Project in Washington State

2002-03-13 [SolarAccess.com] Ground was broken for the 37-turbine, Nine Canyons wind project in Washington State this week, which will eventually generate 48 MW, enough to power about 12,000 homes. The project, to be built and run by Energy Northwest, is expected to cost US$70 million for the 300-foot-high, Denmark built turbines.
