Gamesa to Sell Wind Assets to Iberdrola

July 29, 2002 [] Grupo Auxiliar Metalurgico SA said its Gamesa Energia SA unit has agreed to sell wind generation assets worth € 13.7 million (US$13.5 million) to Iberdrola SA unit Iberdrola Energias Renovables II SA. According to Gamesa, the agreement includes the sale of the 30 MW Monte Treito wind farm, as well as other wind turbines with a generating capacity of 80 MW within one year.
