Gamesa to Install 250 MW of Wind Farms in China

Madrid, Spain [AFX News Limited] Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica SA said its Gamesa Energy China unit has signed an agreement with the Shandong provincial government to design, construct and bring on stream several wind farms in the province for 280 mln eur [US$356 million]. In a statement, Gamesa said the total installed capacity of the wind farms will be 250 megawatts, adding that this is the largest contract the company has secured in China to date.
