Gamesa Secures UK Wind Energy Position

[] Wind power and aeronautics technology manufacturer Gamesa is growing beyond the borders of Spain. The company will consolidate its presence in the British market for renewable energies by opening of a branch office in the United Kingdom, from where it will promote wind farms. In September, the company announced it would base its headquarters for the United States in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for development and manufacturing needs in the nation. Gamesa decided to consolidate its European presence as Gamesa Energy UK in 2003 after the country approved amendments that support the renewable energy industry. A team of professionals specializing in the generation of energy derived from wind power will work at the national office, and help to develop the 400 MW of power the company has in negotiations with landowners.
