FPL Dedicates Iowa’s Hancock Wind Farm

May 6, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Senior executives from FPL Energy, a producer of clean, Renewable Energy, will join U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, U.S. Congressman Tom Latham and senior executives from Alliant Energy, Corn Belt Power Cooperative, Cedar Falls Utilities and the city of Pella at the dedication of the Hancock County Wind Energy Center. The event will take place at Duncan Hall, 2337 Nation Avenue, in Duncan, Iowa on Monday May 12, 2003 at 11:00 am. Duncan Hall is located off Highway 18 six miles west of Garner, Iowa. At 10:30 a.m. buses will transport guests and the media from Duncan Hall to the dedication site at short ways away at the Hancock County Wind Energy Center.
