First Phase Completed for Calgary Wind Farm

Calgary, Alberta [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Canada’s Gemini Corporation announced construction completion for the first major phase of construction of its first wind energy project. The project is undergoing construction for Kettle Hills Wind Energy Inc. located in southern Alberta. Once completed it will boast 63 MW of installed capacity.

In this first phase, Gemini’s subsidiary, Kinetic Projects Inc., completed the civil construction work for the turbines and substation. The energy generated from this installation will be delivered to Alberta’s provincial power grid. It is anticipated that further opportunities to participate in this project will be available as the second phase is completed over the coming months.
