Finnish Wind Turbine Company Gains Euro 20 M

Oulu, Finland [] India’s Sterling Infotech Group (SIG) has made a Euro 20 million [US $25.5 million] capital investment into Winwind Oy, a Finnish wind turbine company. Winwind, manufacturer of 1 and 3 megawatt (MW) wind turbines designed for demanding conditions, has this year experienced rapid growth and turnover is expected to increase for the year ending 2006. Most of Winwind’s production is exported to Estonia, Sweden, Portugal and France.
