Eastern Colorado Prime for Wind Power

[Fort Morgan Times] Eastern Colorado, as part of the Great Plains, lends itself to generating power from the ever-present wind. There are times the wind does not blow, especially in the summer, but these are few and far between. The Wind Energy Workshop, held March 5 in Wray, drew approximately 100 people from at least as far away as Salida. The workshop was geared to local producers and rural communities, who can often benefit from having their own small wind turbine.
