DeWind Steps up Turbine Production

April 24, 2003 [] German wind turbine manufacturer DeWind plans on significantly increasing their output of wind turbines by next year through increased activity at Brush Manufacturers, an affiliated production center in Loughborough, England. The increased output will be predominantly the company’s 2 MW D8 turbine, introduced last year. British FKI industrial group’s recent acquisition of DeWind has helped make this additional production capacity possible. FKI Energy Technology Group manufactures turbine generators and has production plants around the globe.
