Denmark Becomes Suzlon’s New Global Headquarters

[] Things are about to get a little more crowded in Denmark, Europe’s wind turbine manufacturing hub. India-based Suzlon Energy is opening a subsidiary office in Aarhus, Denmark, which will serve as the company’s headquarters for global wind power business. Among the crowd of over 100 that attended the office’s official opening was India’s ambassador to Denmark Harsh Bhasin who said that that “in the times of outsourcing of jobs from Europe to India, Suzlon has created a history by reversing the trend by generating employment opportunity in Denmark.” Dipak Rostogi, head of CVC international Citi group, also spoke regarding Citi group’s participation as an equity investor with Suzlon. The company’s main Indian office will remain the headquarters for developments in the country with the new Denmark office the head of global operations.
