Concert Among Wind Turbines

August 2, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] On September 7, 2002 a Danish wind farm will be the scene of an outdoor concert with the electronic musician Jean Michel Jarre, who is famous for his gigantic shows in unconventional locations like the pyramids in Egypt or the Acropolis in Athens. This time he has chosen Gammel Vraa Enge wind farm, which consists of 15 NEG Micon 750 kW wind turbines. The concert is intended as a celebration of wind and wind energy.
