Coastal North Carolina Wind Assessment

May 12, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] REPP has joined with several North Carolina energy groups to form a Coastal Wind Development effort. As part of the commitment to implementing Powering the South, REPP is working with the North Carolina Energy Office and the Solar Center to develop wind resources in coastal North Carolina. The offshore wind potential is an especially important part of this effort. As part of its responsibility, REPP has recently completed a Draft of the permitting process an offshore project would have to complete.
